Getting past the Astros is looking like a tall task for anybody in the AL for a few years still. The White Sox just have to continue to add talent. Pollock had a good 2nd half, but it’s not a huge loss. The MiLB squad is on it’s way up. They are restocking. Let’s hope they get a good pick in the lottery. Depending on what happens there might be some deals to do around the deadline. We’ll see.

Pollack made a great decision for us by leaving supposedly because he did not like the city nor the way the team was going. Good for him and good for the team. Now we have one less incompetent.

So......why will we keep Lynn who is 36 now and prone to injury or trade him for a 2B man or younger talent to add to our struggling minor leagues. Of course, the main problem is money (due to a tightwad owner) and a GM who shops at Goodwill for players. Can we win? Not likely.....
